September DCWV Stack-a-holic Challenge

Once again I decided to participate in the DCWV Template Challenge and submit a card and a layout. The templates for September were super cute. And my thought is, that if I work on the challenge, I am bound to get at least one page finished this month.

As I am really far behind on Peanut's books I thought I would use some pictures of her. I also have a lot of DCWV girl paper to get used up.

Here is the original sketch by Sketch Savvy which is a great blog with lots of great sketches and ideas.

And here is my 12x12 page using Nana's Nursery in Baby Girl, son random ribbon and rick rack scraps and a little washi tape. SWEET cut using Cricut and Hello Kitty Font cartridge. White space id for journaling - my downfall on every page.

Here is my take on the card sketch. I used the let over paper from my layout and and an adorable stamp from Papertrey Inks.

Once again my card was selected in the Top Ten, which is super exciting. I would have liked to seen my layout there as well, but I am really happy with the way they both turned out.

I am hoping I will have time this month to work on the October sketches!
